Rachel & Weston | Lifestyle Session

There is a quiet magic in being yourself. In being in love, being happy, finding your person, and sharing a life.

Rachel and Weston's lifestyle photography session was nothing short of magic. Sure, it helped that their hair had it's own story, and Rachel's vintage 501's maybe need their own blog post too, but really the physical space between them is filled with stories, and building a business (check out Weston's amazing leather and metal shop Rose Anvil,) and maybe accepting cats as a pet. The stories that build a shared history find their way into their hands, and their faces, and since I'm sitting in that space with them, finds it's way into my camera and my heart.

I can't imagine anything else I would rather be doing, then stopping time for just a little while.

Courtney & Josh | Salt Lake Temple

I'll never forget this beautiful September wedding with Courtney and Josh, at the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. My favorite affairs are family affairs, and this one was filled with love, family, connection and stories. From Courntey's dad making hundreds of his famous chocolate chip cookies and her Mom, Amy, designing all the flowers and sisters from both sides whose own weddings I photographed. It felt like home.
